Alpha Trend is an evolution of a very famous indicator called Trend Magic which is a combination of Commodity Channel Index (CCI) and Average True Range (ATR).
Alpha Trend is a trend-following indicator and can be used as a confluence or to determine strategy entries. The indicator shines with the ability to identify the flat markets and detect trends more accurate than regular moving averages.
