Overview
Swing Failure Pattern (SFP) for NinjaTrader 8 — automatically detects liquidity grabs followed by rejection at swing highs and lows, with confirmation logic, volume filtering, and color-coded signals that separate potential setups from confirmed reversals.
Built for ICT and Smart Money traders who trade the trap, not the breakout. Non-repainting, automation-ready, Strategy Builder compatible.

FAQ
What's the difference between Potential and Confirmed signals?
Potential (silver) marks an SFP setup forming — useful as an early heads-up. Confirmed (green for bullish, red for bearish) means the key confirmation level has broken, validating the reversal. Trade confirmed signals; watch potential signals.
How does volume filtering work?
The indicator compares the rejection wick's volume against either the swing candle or the rejection candle's volume. If wick volume is below the threshold (default 25%), the SFP is treated as weak and filtered out. Eliminates noise without missing strong setups.
What are the signal values?
+1 = bullish SFP detected, +2 = bullish SFP confirmed, -1 = bearish SFP detected, -2 = bearish SFP confirmed. Use these directly in Strategy Builder for clean conditional logic.
Does it repaint?
No. Patterns are based on completed candle behavior, and confirmation logic ensures signals don't change once validated.
What pairs well with SFP?
Liquidity Swings for the swing-level context, IFVG for entry refinement, HyperTrend for directional bias, and OrderBlock Trend (CISD) for higher-timeframe alignment. SFP gives you the reversal trigger; the others give you the context.
