FAQ

What is an Inversion Fair Value Gap?

It's a Fair Value Gap that has been mitigated (price returned into it) and broken (price closed through it). After that flip, the original FVG often acts as new support or resistance — with bullish IFVGs becoming support below price and bearish IFVGs becoming resistance above.

How is this different from a standard FVG indicator?

Standard FVG indicators stop tracking after a gap is filled. IFVG keeps going — once an FVG flips, the indicator tracks it as a new S/R zone and fires bounce signals when price revisits it.

What's the difference between wick and close bounce signals?

Wick-based fires when any part of a candle touches the IFVG — aggressive, earlier entries. Close-based fires only when a candle closes within the zone — safer, confirmation-based entries.

What does ATR filtering do?

It validates each detected FVG against the current ATR, filtering out micro-gaps that are too small to matter. You only see structurally meaningful imbalances.

Can I automate strategies with this?

Yes. All levels (bullTop, bullBot, bearTop, bearBot), next unfilled IFVGs, bounce signals, and zone identification are exposed for Strategy Builder.
