What is the Initial Balance?
The Initial Balance is typically the first hour of the trading session — the period when buyers and sellers establish early equilibrium. The high and low of this period often act as key reference points for the rest of the day.
How does the Forecast Engine work?
It analyzes past IB sessions and their expansion behavior, calculates average offsets from previous sessions, and projects a Forecast Top and Bottom range for today. Sensitivity is adjustable via the Past Period and Multiplier inputs.
What is day-of-week filtering?
It lets you generate forecasts using only data from the same weekday — useful because Mondays often behave differently from Fridays, and recurring weekday patterns can be very stable.
Does it repaint?
