No. All signals are non-repainting and calculated in real time on closed bars.
What makes ALMA different from regular moving averages?
ALMA (Arnaud Legoux Moving Average) reduces lag while maintaining smoothness — it's more responsive than SMA or EMA to real market conditions, with less zigzag noise.
What does the neutral (0) signal mean?
It means price is inside the RMS bands — a ranging or low-momentum market. The signal specifically helps you skip these low-quality periods rather than forcing trades during chop.
How are the RMS bands calculated?
Root Mean Square (RMS) of recent price deviations from the ALMA trendline. When price stays within the bands, the market is statistically in range; when it moves beyond, directional momentum is detected.
Can I automate Trendilo?
