What's the difference between regular and hidden divergence?
Regular divergence signals a potential trend reversal — price and indicator disagree at extremes. Hidden divergence signals trend continuation — price pulls back but momentum stays in the trend direction.
Can I really plug in my own indicator?
Yes. The tool accepts any external indicator series as an input and runs the full divergence detection logic against it.
How does multi-divergence confirmation work?
Set a minimum count (e.g. 3). The indicator only flags a signal when at least that many of the selected indicators show divergence at the same pivot — substantially filtering out noise.
Can I automate this?
Yes. Hidden plots are exposed for use in NinjaTrader Strategy Builder and backtesting workflows.
